The similarities are there. I'm just saying.

October 23, 2009

Man, I tell yall the fall colors are exceptionally beautiful this year. I'm pretty sure it has a lot to do with the early cold weather. That photo up above was taken while I got my lunch at Papa Romanos Pizza.

I've never really been a sedan fan, but damn, Mazda is doing the damn thing. I saw the Mazda "mule" in traffic the other day. It's the top photo. See the "M" plate. A "mule" is a car that is being tested, modified by the car company. That bitch reminds me of a Lexus. Probably the flush tail pipes that do it. See the difference between the Manufactureres version and the ordinary one in the bottom picture.

Talk about embarrassing. Watching these mothafuckas move what they could after being put out by the sherrifs scares the fuck outta me. I started thinking If you don't have the money to pay your mortgage, you probably don't have the money to put all your shit into storage. Most likely, you didn't have enough cash to move into a new place right away either. Just fucked up. I mean the wolves were circling too. mothafuckas were sitting in parked cars waiting to see what they could get when the newly evicted pulled off. The top picture was tuesday evening. The bottom picture was wednesday morning. I've said it many times before, homelessness is no joke.

Speaking of dead dogs, Am I the only mothafucka that saw the black jack taco commercial and just had to have one? right after the commercial went off? It sure does taste better than those red shelled lava tacos.

Yo, what the fuck is up with all the dead dogs I see laying in the streets of Detroit. I showed yall one last month and since then and since then, I've been seeing dead dogs everywhere. Are niggaz dumping these mothafuckas? I swear to you, I spotted the 2 up above(yes they are different dogs) on 2 seperate days this past week.

Funny thing, 4 days after me noticing urban gardens in the hood and mentioning them on my blog, I see them on the front page of the Detroit News today. Basically, the article answered the question I had about WHY? I'm not gonna explain it, just click here and read the excellent article.

Maybe it's me, I might not see the big picture, but what the fuck are all these urban farms accomplishing? I've seen people stealing the crops and purposely throwing trash into the farms. But what gets me the most is the fact that these gardens exist right next to abandoned houses. If the companies that want to sponser something in the inner city so badly, it would be more beneficial to the community if they sponsered the demolition of that old ugly ass house in the background.

I celebrated 8 years of making porn on October 5th. So in honor of that, I've been doing a new update each day on my .com site. Apparently members enjoy that shit. I sure do wish I could keep that going, but believe it or not, actually finding broads is time consuming. And also, when you start putting up new bitches on a daily basis, you run out of the "new" bitches that are on the streets. The stuff I've put up this week ain't the sites best material, but I know how much of a treat it is to surfers to be able to stop by a site each day and know you're gonna see something new. I've always said that eventually I'd like to be able to run the site that way. Hell, maybe I can work it out when I'm doing this shit full time. The photo up above is a broad that I hadn't seen in about 7 years. She's actually in the first clip that I ever made for the .com I'll speak on this when I actually update the porn site with her.

I don't think I've ever been more pissed off over Michigan losing to the spartans. Their first loss of the season that I honestly thought they'd surprise everyone and go undefeated in. Naw, I didn't go to the game, didn't feel like dealing with the crowd. I was on campus earlier in the week though.

Now this was just STRANGE. I did a doubletake when I spotted it driving down Chene in Detroit. I'm still not quite sure what too think. It's either someones idea of art or someone broke the windows out of an old bakery shop that had fake pastries inside of it.

So yeah, I'm an ol' school caddy fanatic and here's a couple Caddy's that I spotted in the "D". over the last few weeks. The gold one is a 1969 coupe Deville and the black one is a 1980 "choptop" fleetwood. I've had intentions of copping a 1980 coupe and chopping the top just like this one. If done right, a "clean" really looks nice.

*So yeah, This is the last entry of the month and the final one I'm doing in this format. Went back to the 9 to 5 this week. Got my long awaited plaque yesterday. But dang, it ain't blue anymore. Part of it has to do with the fact that Chrysler Financial, is no longer affiliated with Chrysler LLC. We're basically just an independent finance company now. I've got my 5 year plaque on my wall in L.A., I'll compare the 2 when I go back out west and take a picture. Also, I got video footage of the inside of the building that I'll put up. I'll be back in L.A. in about a week. So yeah, I've accomplished my goal, but I'm still tempted to stay a little longer. Being a UAW membe, I'm entitled to a lump sum of $20,000 as severence pay if I get laid off. and Chances are we will get laid off before the end of the year. See, if you google the company I work for, you'll notice how horrible it's doing. Our management has even warned us that things are looking grim We've been told that if another opportunity comes our way, that it would be wise to take it. 20g's might not be a lot of cash, but the way I look at it, I'm working right now, GETTING PAID, even though I hate it and I'm bored. If I pushed out 10 years, I should be able to push out a few more months for the $20,000. What would I do with the cash? Nothing. I'd put it into a savings account and if my internet ventures ever fall or if I have a bad month and can't cover my business expenses, The 20K plus interest will be there for me. Below is a blurry picture(digital was scarce back then) of me and the coworkers that I began my career with taken 10 years ago. Guess what? Only 3 of us are left. I can't say that I wish I would've quit because hitting the 10 year mark feels good as hell. Like one of my homies said today, "I can't even imagine working at the same place for that long." In 2009, I can't imagine myself doing it either. I'm a different dude than I was back in my 20's. Moreso though, the world is a different place no. In 1999, everyone figured that the big 3 companys, GM, Ford and Chrysler would be around forever. When you got a job with one of those companies, you basically thought you had a gig that you would retire at. Shit, I guess you could say I'm retiring at 10 years, because I don't plan on "working" anymore when I leave. Maybe that's why that plaque up above means so much to me.
