Actually came back to the "D" for Thanksgiving. This back and forth trip is something that I think I'll be doing for the rest of my life.

This is one of those rare occasions where I can basically copy and paste my .com entry: Told yall I had gone to Tijuana, Mexico a couple of weeks ago. Wasn't the first time I'd been and probably won't be the last. You can clown me if yall want but I had been craving the cheap ass baja tacos that they sell at that particular "taco bell" for quite some time. Not to mention the $50 a night luxury hotel, the nice LONG/CHEAP massages and the Cuban cigars. Not trying to get too much into that here though. Check out my blog. Me being a Detroit nigga, I'm used to crossing the border to go into Canada, but trust me, it ain't nothing like crossing into Mexico. Now you can't tell from my update today, but from what people have been telling me, TiJuana is in the top 5 sex vacation spots in the world. Behind of course Thailand, Brasil and others. If you like beautiful Mexican woman, you gotta stop inside of click here I swear there are women walking around up in that joint looking as close to Salma Hayek as a broke man like myself can ever hope to see. But then again, maybe it's always the Tecate that I be drinking. Prostitution is legal in TJ, so bitches sell pussy right next to the police station. Literally. They get tested for STD's every month, so if you ask, the bitches will show you there monthly health clearance card. So I was strolling through the city, eating a burrito and admiring the hot chicks(street girls is what they're called) standing all along the walls. They grab at you as you walk by, saying "Suck Y Fuck, $20" I rarely mess with them girls though, I go beyond the tourist area and fuck with the grimey bitches. It's just too easy to fuck with the street girls, not enough of an adrenaline rush. I swear you might see anything when you pass by the last few titty bars on the strip there in TJ. Hell, ANYTHING might even happen to you. Fuck picking up hookers in the U.S., Being tucked away inside some hole in the wall spot with your pants down and a bitch that can barely speak english is the ultimate rush. just a little warning though: If you visit, DON'T LET ANYONE SEE YOU WITH A CAMERA and definitely don't get caught with photos or video of bitches on it.

On the real, just the peaceful drive south from L.A. is an event. Beautiful scenery all the way down.

You'd never catch me at a Gucci mane concert, but anytime I get a chance to check out some hot west coast shit, I'm there. It just gets better and better with time too. At the Nokia saw Snoop, Quik, Daz, Kurupt, Too Short, Xzibit and others perform.

I'm late, but I wanna get my month of November blogged before November is actually over. I kinda fell behind. How? I really don't know. Just out in the streets too much I guess. But anywayz, As I mentioned on the .com, I hit up the Pistons and Lakers game at the Staples Center when they played. My team lost, but Got damn, everytime I step inside the Staples center, I enjoy myself.

Couple more joints that ain't in Detroit. In N out. I love the way they keep it real simple. see the menu on the wall. They don't serve much. But what they do serve is pretty good. Not my favorite burger joint, but it's different to me.

Lastly, I actually stopped at a Hardees in Iowa while driving west. Then I was able to stop at a Carls Jr. in Nevada. These places have been intriguing to me for more than a few years. The food is somewhat a like, but not exactly the same. I rarely miss a day of Carls Jr. Breakfast burritos in L.A., but them joints at Hardees just don't taste the same.

Louisiana Fried Chicken, which I haven't seen anywhere except the west coast. I haven't tried them yet, but I'm thinking it should probably taste something like Popeyes Chicken. I could be wrong yall, but Like I said, these spots are joints that I just notice here in Cali.

November 22, 2009

Alright, So food is what has been motivating me to update this blog lately. I hit up a couple spots that I see all over L.A., but never in any other cities. First of all let me say this also, I've never seen any Dunkin' Donuts in L.A., so I guess Winchells takes it's place. They're everywhere. I stopped by one for the first time recently. As soon as you open your car door in the parking lot, you can smell the baked goods being made. After biting into the glazed twists like a lot of other things, I started wondering why I hadn't tried it sooner. Delicious.

Another spot that I've never seen anywhere outside of California is Wienerschnitzel. Yes, another hot dog place. Now I used to get this place confused with a place that I used to see in Michigan called Schlotzeys. Probably because of the difficult name and the colors But naw, this ain't it. The buildings have always stood out to me with their pointy roofs. Still I've been passing these joints up for years until recently. Not bad food. I had a corndog, and get this, a chilli/french fry burrito. Shit was on the 99cent menu. Oh yeah, I also grabbed a chilli cheeseburger and some jalapeno poppers for 99cents too.

No I didn't eat all this fuckin' food today. I'm just relaxing this Friday the 13th reflecting on the fast food I ate this week. Shit that You just can't get from my hometown Detroit. Hell, a favorite of Detroiters is definitely Coney ISland chilli dogs. Well, these ain't Coney Islands, but they're pretty popular dogs in L.A. The famous Pinks was celebrating their 70th anniversary in the same location this week. I can't believe I stood in that long line with a lot of other people thinking everything on the menu was 70 cents. A lot of us had misunderstood that the 70 cent dogs were just the ones with plain chili and they were only 70 cents after 7pm. I was in line at about 4pm. Waited about an hour and a half to place my order. and there is no way I was gonna wait another hour and a half to save a couple dollars. I got what is called "The today show" dog. It was definitely delicious. I'm not sure why none of the Coney joints back in Detroit use guacamole.

I've finally started working out FOR REAL now. I say for real, because I'm on a plan and not just going to the gym sporadically. I hit up the 24 hour fitness joint in Long Beach every single day this week. So me enjoying all the fast junk food I've been eating doesn't even phase me. Down below is something I had never had before, but I saw them all over the highway when I was driving through Colorado. When I decided to spend the night in Denver, I had to have some Taco Johns. It wasn't the best I've tasted, but it sure as hell was a good change from the standard Taco Bell or Del Taco.

For those of yall in the "D", Friday's is the day you wanna stop by Happy's Pizza. Not that I'm trying to advertise for those mothafuckas, but they give you a pound of jumbo shrimp or a fish hook-up for about $10. With the exception of last week and today, because I've been out of town, I don't think I've missed Happys on a Friday since September. A few weeks ago, when I was there, they happen to be shooting photos for the menu.

Just a few of the sites I saw on my way west. For whatever reason, I hadn't noticed the wind turbines when I drove west in 2006. Also, I had no idea Gary, IN looked so much like Detroit. That old abandoned theatre could easily be a Detroit building. Yo, see those pumpkins in that field. crazy, right. Colorado pics are in there, with the snow capped mountains. Beautiful. And I swear, When you're riding through parts of Utah and Arizona, you feel like you're in a roadrunner cartoon. Yo, look up at the 2 pictures below the section of small ones. The first I spotted after I smelled it and got a shot after I had passed it. It's an overcrowded cattle ranch. Just seeing all those cows stacked in there like that is enough to make you not wanna eat meat. Below that is a huge junk yard in the middle of nowhere. I wish I would've taken the time to stop and look around. I can only imagine what kind of classic shit you can find in there.

November 7, 2009

Alright, after 3 days, 10 state borders(excuse some of the blurry pics), 2 and a half bills of gas and thousands of dead insects I've reached my destination. I actually took my time, could have easily been here in 2 days if I hadn't spent the night in Denver and then again in Vegas. So let me get a little rest, then some play. I'm gonna straighten up some things at the crib and I'll be back tomorrow with some random photos. lol, I tell you. Walking around outside in a T-shirt with the warm sun hitting my arms sure does beat bundling up to scrape the windows on my car back east.

Yesssir, westward bound. If you haven't driven across country before, you don't know what you're missing. Lost track of how many times I've made the trek, but the thing is shit is constantly changing. The roads and stops along the way to way more modern than they looked 10-15 years ago. Shit even looks different from when I last drove west in 2006...I'll be back

November 5, 2009

Man, I woke up yesterday morning, walked out to my car and saw frost on the window. Looked at all the fuckin' leaves on the ground that need to be raked, I just shook my head. It's basically full blown fall, almost winter now. Went back in the house to watch the the morning news and dig this...the weatherman said, "wet snowflakes today". I said, "Fuck this! I'm out" Finished eating my breakfast, went to the bank to grab some dough, got some head(lol, next .com update) went back home and threw a couple duffle bags in the car, filled up the gas tank and then I mashed out....Be back later.
