...Today is the beginning of a new era in this blog. The 5th year anniversary. And dammit I feel like I've put so much of myself into this joint that just like the .com it's a masterpiece. However I'm not stopping this blog. It won't get me maimed, killed or jailed. But what I do wanna do is kinda "reboot". In the past I've showed you things that I just happened to be doing or thinking. Now in 2011 onward I think I wanna intentionally do shit for the blog that will happen to be fun for me in return. I'll be honest a lot of people don't realize this but the older you get, the less enthuised you get about doing different things. You get fixed in your ways. Especially if shit is real comfortable for you. I almost fell into that in Florida before this spring. Started going up to Detroit and Atlanta and now I feel like I'm back. Another thing I wanna do with the blog moving foward is to show off a little bit more. See the picture up above. I've been a playa since day 1. Not a single bone in my body lacks confidence and character.

Up above is some of the final new entry I'm adding to my .coms front page. It goes up tomorrow and will stay there. I've still got quite a few new scenes that I've already shot and will add into the members area up until October. After that I may shoot some new creative shit but it'll be nothing like the first 10 years. That era is done and...

It's funny how just when you think something is as far as it's gonna go technologically. It goes further. I'm not sure if I'm more happy to see that Wendy's is now letting you get your own refills or being able to play this new digital soft drink machine. Yall know I travel a lot and I'm almost sure this isn't anywhere except Atlanta right now. But it's definitely the future of fountain drinks. You just stick your cup under and tap the photo of what drink(s) you want on the screen. To have one of these things in the crib would be amazing.

Speaking of buildings with character. When I first saw it, I had to live in it. That building is where I sat down at a table 8 years ago today and decided to really get busy with the .com I've been doing nonstop updates since that time. I had just moved in. Shot the first videos you see on the .com there. The slight view of the river outside one window and view of the "GM" building out another had me inspired. Certain apartments were fucked up and about to be repaired inside so I had made an unbelievable deal with management. Was living there for next to nothing and I was so close to hoes in all directions. Freeway right next to me. I Loved it. Was just a few years away from being 30. Had been so close to marrying maybe 3 different bitches but I was lucky enough to realize it was definitely not what I wanted in life. I saw "the light". Too many hoes out there to just have fun with instead of being tied down doing what I didn't wanna do. I Showed yall before that Just 5 years before, fresh outta college at 22 I had gotten my first Apartment in the city. Then I got talked into moving so deep into the suburbs. I mean I was near 18 mile road lol, not the world known 8 mile. But when I moved back to the city for my 2nd go 'round I was free to be me again. Felt good about where I was at. Real comfortable like I am in Miami now. The spot you're looking at wasn't to impress or to make a bitch comfortable. I had just left living like that. But sure enough bitches would come through and be impressed anywayz. Dudes wanting to know where I lived would come by and they didn't get it. Kinda like they don't get shit now either. The stories I have of being in that place. I remember picking up one of the first hookers I shot from way on the other side of town. Bringing her back to the apt and I swear to God I'm not lying. We walked up the stairs to my apartment and her mom who was my nextdoor neighbor was walking down. They had been astranged because of the drug problem and her moms was actually upset that the daughter had found her. Until the time I left, I kept seeing the broad banging on her moms door but the mom would never answer. I feel kinda dumb for recognizing the places splendor, but not researching it. It's funny how you can live in places and around certain things and don't even know their significance. I was just reading that the building is a Kahn design and has been on the U.S. registry of National historic places since 1985.

I love buildings. Shot this one while on I75 coming into Atlanta. I'm not gonna lie, I've tried to get this shot for the last 2 years and up until today, I always ended up just getting the cross and the sky. But anywayz I snapped it because maybe you can see how perfect and precise it looks compared to the older spots in Detroit. Yeah it looks good, perfect but somehow it lacks character. Then again, maybe I'm just seeing things.

Last time while leaving Detroit I saw my first FIAT on a trailer being shipped. This time in Detroit I saw quite a few actually rolling on the road. My opinion remains the same. Bitch car. But I wouldn't have a problem buying one for a broad. It's cute, but not MANly.

So when was the last time you saw NEW/OLD gas pumps at a station. I love the simpleness of it. Georgia. No credit card slot. Only one kind of gas. Walked in to prepay and the cashier said to pump first. I can only imagine how fast you'd get pulled over for a "drive-off" here. Where would you getaway to lol. I'll put video up later. I'm out and about right now.

Went to the Belle Isle Zoo for the first time in my life this weekend. It was cool. Almost put on some trunks and hit the beach & waterslide around the corner too. Never been there before either. And in case you forget it's in between the U.S. and Canada. What a gem that whole area is. You can't truely appreciate it until you go other places in the country and realize there's nothing quite like it anywhere else. It's bare minimum too. I can imagine how amazing shit would be if there was some kind of new beautification done. The fireworks that celebrate the 4th of July are on the river this coming weekend and "the ISle" will be packed with people enjoying it.

So Summertime officially begins today. I swear it feels like it never ended in 2010 to me. I only saw snow for 3 days this past winter. I hope to keep it that way for the rest of my life lol. Yeah, I know I was just here 2 months ago. Had a good ass weekend though. Nah, It ain't that I can't stay away. Because I could. I'd save money. It's just that my presence/presents is appreciated. So I killed all kinds of birds with one stone by spending the dough to be in the "D" this past weekend.

Maybe it's just me, but I think this was some ironic shit since I had just started comparing old photos to new ones in this blog. Met an ex-porn bitch today and I was looking at the DVD covers that she told me to check out online. Then started looking at her and it sure did make me realize how much 8 years can do to a person. Of course other shit sometimes plays a factor too. Not saying anything bad, just saying that time changes people. Yeah that's her. Real friendly broad too. A lot of porn DVD covers are heavily photoshopped. In her case it looks like they always lightened her skin color. In the actual scenes she looks more like the pictures and video that I shot of her yesterday. She said, "Yeah, that was years ago, I'm in my 30's now." She's about 32. So I take it from 18 to about 24, she was doing her thing. Contrary to what muhfuckas might think it ain't a big demand out there for 30plus year old porn bitches. There's a few popular ones, but usually it's because they have a gigantic REAL ass.

This place seemed to be iconic from my late teens up until my mid 20's. The strippers at Magic City this, The strippers at Magic City that. I snapped the top photo in 2004 right before they remodeled. So I guess that's how it looked in the 90's. The bottom photo was taken in May. I know niggaz that have been talking about going to Atlanta just to tour the titty bars for years. But they haven't even managed to leave their hometown in 20 years. As I approach 40, I realize them niggaz ain't going anywhere lol. Because all it would take is a $350 plane ticket, a $150 roundtrip greyhound ticket or 2 tanks of gas to get them there.

This blog is about 2 weeks aways from its 5th year anniversary. How many blogs do you know that old? Going through old photos and some shit I shot in April. Yeah, I know. The bitch had gotten beat up and I was just giving her a ride in 2004. But look at the liquor store in the background. I'm posting these two pictures up because when that store was open for business it was the cleanest party store in the area. Not sure what happen to it and when, but it's gone now. I can't even count how many hoes I shot video of in that area. They were everywhere. It's a ghost town cruising through the area now. As I approach the end of my constant updates on the .com I've been admiring the masterpieces I've created. Just like the broads that I've shot would tell me, I was being too cheap because the photos and video I was paying next to nothing for is forever. I'll be dropping more images through the end of the month. It's amazing how better the shit looks as it gets older. The original digital joints can be resized and reworked forever. Worth every penny and every second I spent.

This was on my windshield. And you can believe that phone # is always lit up with muhfuckas snithcing. lol, niggaz kill for $200 shoes. So you know if all you gotta do is snitch on someone who has a gun, it's being done all day long. Muthafuckas be getting busted and don't even know how.

I guarantee you, this is how every "GOOD" section of the city is set up over the next 5 years. It definitely works, but it's expensive. When the city of Detroit starts "closing" sections of the city that aren't being used, they'll set up permanent security that resembles these muhfuckas. It'll allow them to rebuild those areas to the point where $500,000 cribs can be built and those with money will move into the newly renovated areas. Back in April when I was there I saw beautiful green sections of the city just waiting to be gated off for construction to begin.
