So while I'm relaxing this holiday season, I've been trying to squeeze in the original Tron movie, so I can go to the theatre to see the 2010 sequel that was just released. See my Tron toy up above? I played with that mothafucka like crazy as a child. And unlike most other toys I had, it was built so well that it didn't break. I mean I was like 6 years old when I got that thing. And the reason I have to re-watch the original Tron is because although I can remember being taken to The Americana in Southfield to see it, I never understood it. I was too young. Hollywood/Walt Disney marketing at its finest. Manage to get a child to play with and enjoy things that he or she has no idea what it's about.

Chick in my car shot the picture while I gunned it across the bridge on the side of Bumblebee. Ironic I'm posting this right after I talked about being stopped and harrassed for walking. Well, I honestly don't think the police stop people for doing 10, 20 or 30 over the speed limit here.

Half way through the month. That's 10 days until Christmas and just 15 days away from New Years Eve. So I'm chillin'. Already got a few more updates for my .com site to close out the year And I ain't goin' back into the streets scoutin' no more. I don't need any mishaps to close out such a beautiful year. See those iPhone pictures up above? Now mind you, that was in Detroit 2 years ago to this date. It was during the time my license was suspended. I was walking and catching the city buses everywhere I needed to go. Just as I was doin' a lil last minute shoppin' and gettin' ready to be on my way to L.A. to enjoy the holidays that cop cars rolls up to me. I get cuffed and he begins to run my ID lookin' for shit to fuck with me on. YES, I WAS JUST WALKING. Shoppin', putting money into the suburban city at that. I was thinkin' damn if I had any warrants and had to get takin' in it would just ruin my holidays and the start of a new year. Here in Miami this year I've been doin' so much that I've been stopped, arrested, faced felony charges that could have put me away for a few years. And if I had been, it would've been due to my ignorance of doing my thing in the cocaine capitol of the country. But I was able to walk away with clean hands. It's time for ya boy to call it a year while everything is going perfect. No drama needed right now. I'm gonna spend the last 2 weeks of the year redesigning my websites and focusing on takin' Foul Fowl Entertainment to the next level in 2011(the 10th anniversary year). Downloading a good book to read as I do a lil holiday travelling and gettin' ready for a few days at sea in January. Hahaha It's so comfortable in Florida that I've been kinda still. I'm gettin' ready to make some moves like I always do around this time of the year though. Stay tuned...

You know there ain't nothin' like spending the holidays in a warm climate locale. It gives you a completely different feeling when you're accustomed to being in cold/snowy weather. Shit just feels so different. And I love it. I should probably be getting used to it now though because I can't even remember the last time I actually spent the whole holiday season in the cold. look back through the blog.

Was watching the Today show and they were talking about great hotels for the holidays at less than $150. It started me thinking about the hotel I would use in L.A. Quite possibly the weirdest place I've ever lived. I stumbled into it by accident. On a budget because I had gotten fired that month I was rollin' around L.A. with my camaro packed with belongings. I got tired of doing the drive-up motel shit. There was an old man that I had met at Carl's Jr. I'd always run into him when I'd go for breakfast. Felt sorry for the old dude. He was in his 70's and kept talking about how his he has no family left. To make a long story short, He needed someone to help him move some shit out of storage to the new apartment he had gotten near the Union Station. I needed money. For $100 I was transporting his shit out of the Cecil Hotel(excuse the blurry OG iphone pic above) and a nearby storage facility. I didn't feel bad about taking the money, because it was really like a $300 job. I found out how cheap that mothafucka was($30 a night), so as I was moving him out, I was moving in. Couldn't believe how comfortable that place felt. It was like a palace in the middle of the hood. You could tell that at one time it had been a top notch joint. That same day going up the elevator, I met another dude that I've told yall about. The pots and pans hustlin' cat. I also found out that the place was a haven for hoes. People that were willing to sign a lease could live there for like $800 a month which was good for L.A. It was sparkling clean in that muhfucka, but hoes would walk though knocking on doors trying to suck dick at night. lol, look at my .com updates in august/september 2006. You'll see the hoes that would knock on my door. It was paradise. Kinda how shit is for me in Miami right now. I was doing 4 days at a time there for $100. which was nothin' with my websites. But eventually I left when I got my spot. Went back and stayed there during the holidays in 2007. Just to catch some hoes but the hotel was a completely different place. The hookers were gone, the rate was now $90 a night and management ended the residential renting. Not sure how it looks inside now. But everything else in that area looks better than it did in 2006 as I roll down Main street when I'm there.

Walking pass the Bently dealership today thinking to myself is a Rolls Royce really worth ALL THAT MONEY? Imagine how many $30,000 cars you could have parked in your driveway instead of just one of those up above.

I snapped that sign up above in Wendys last January when I was vacationing here. Now 11 months later I understand. The news says that the temps today were the coldest for South Florida in over 150 years. Tomorrow morning it's suppose to be 40 degrees on Miami Beach. I can dig it for a few days. Doesn't bother me one bit. I actually welcomed as relief from the heat and was even kinda hoping maybe it would snow in Miami and I can get some video or pics. That's until I started watching the stories about how anything below 50 degrees fucks up all the winter crops here in Florida. When it's this cold, it kills almost everything. Which creates shortages And that drives the prices up on the shit that does survive.

Wow, just realized I'm wrapping up the 5th year that I've blogged in. See the links at the bottom. Time really does fly. Yep, December is here. The month that winter begins in. Up north as a child, it was a magical time of the year. We'd usually get our first snow that stuck to the ground. Not just flurries anymore. Boots, coats, gloves, scarves, sweaters and vaseline were now a necessity. lol. Not to mention the Xmas countdown would start. I'd be making my list at this point. No school for half the month, new years eve, new years day. Man, I used to love it. As you can see in the pictures up above, I had some good times in the white stuff. Me and all the kids I grew up with had our own personal winter wonderlands in our backyards. Then when we got old enough to goto the playgrounds it was really something special. Yo, see those Kangaroo boots below. How many of yall remember those? I also had the grey ones with "fur". When you grow up though, the heat bill, slippery roads, shoveling snow and scraping ice off your car window(see Novemer 2009) makes it not so much fun. I can't even tell you how many mornings I got up cussing after looking out the window wishing I was in somewhere warm.

Some stock photos I shot of my old stompin' grounds. hahaha I be takin' pictures like a mothafucka. Yeah, it never fails. I get nostalgic this time of the year. Love the memories. But happy as a mothafucka I'm not there right now lol. In my 1987 mustang I rolled through every inch of these cities while I was suppose to be in school. Back then during this time of the year, I had CHOSEN to already be done with high school for the year. Good times Hahahaha. I start feeling like this every December, look back through the blog. I guess mothafuckas with fucked up childhoods, adolescents' and bad holiday seasons in the past never look back. Probably try to block out those memories, and if they can't they're probably depressed.
