Yo, is it me or has the price of a white castle burger slowly increased over the last year. I fucked around and spent over $7.00 on 5 hamburgers and 5 cheeseburgers last night. And I didn't even get french fries with that. WC used to be a $5 meal. I could have sworn them little square burgers were about 45 cents a piece. Now they're damn near 75 cents each.

As much as I can't stand Diddy, this mothafuckin' SeanJean cologne is this shit. It was one of the gifts I got today. Merry Christmas.

December 15, 2009

Back, and I'm happy to be. But I swear after a couple of days in my hometown, I'll be ready to bounce again. I said in the podcast that it's the familiarity that does it. I used to wonder why people like Aretha Franklin and Eminem choose to stay in Metro Detroit. I know now.

December 13, 2009

Now I'm looking at that. I couldn't believe how many vehicles I saw trapped on the side of the road in snow. Mothafuckas don't know how to SLOW DOWN when there's ice on the road.

December 13, 2009

I'm on the road, heading back to the "D" right now, but just yesterday morning, I was looking at that.

December 13, 2009

12 days till xmas and Yep, I did my holiday gift shopping all at 2 spots this year. I'm gonna do a little decorating in Detroit, so when I get back, I'll be hittin' up a few spots there. That shouldn't be to difficult though.

December 12, 2009

Then yall, after an exhilirating day at the autoshow, I go home and get calls from coworkers with some VERY GOOD news. I go online to one of the local Detroit news sites to confirm what I was told. See, remember this everyone: Quitting is the easiest thing to do. It doesn't take much courage, strength or anything else to throw in the towel. I could have done it in September. I could have quit before I came out to Cali last month. But naw, like I told yall in the first post of this "new" blog, I knew I could hold out. I'm sure a lot of yall readers thought(or still think) I'm crazy, but I couldn't leave this mothafucka with no compensation in my pockets. And dig this...I'm getting even more than the $20,000. Some mothafuckas that I worked witheven left within the last month and they don't get shit because they QUIT. Life is good yall. Oooh weee, shit is getting ready to get real interesting for ya boy. Thank you so much DaimlerChrysler, Chrysler Financial, DaimlerChrysler Services, Chrysler group LLC. All the names we went under during my time employed. My last day is February 26th.

December 11, 2009

So, yeah basically...If only I was a billionaire though and spending $50,000 on a hot car was like spending $5.00 on a hot wheels toy car. And then do you see the bottom picture up above? All those cars and the L.A. convention center had even more space that wasn't even being used. I hate to make comparisons, but Cobo Hall is always packed to capacity at the NAIAS. Organizers have made it clear that more space is needed.

December 11, 2009

Then there was the Audi, the GTR, 'maros and a whole lotta other shit.

December 11, 2009

Nothing says you've made it like a double R. First, I need the Ferrari, but right after that, I'm going for this.

December 11, 2009

Jag was purchased by tata. I thought it would be the demised of the brand. But these new jags look better than anything Ford ever did with it when they owned Jaguar.

December 11, 2009

Now that Benz is nice, but it's priced too high. for $200, I'm definitely taking a Ferrari or even a Lambo over it.

December 11, 2009

I gots to have a Ferrari before I'm 50. lol.

December 11, 2009

See I'm not bullshitting yall. Glance back to February when I was in Europe, looking at Ford vehicles. Of all the models and styles they could have brought over to the U.S., they pick this shit. C'mon son.

December 11, 2009

Ford cars are starting to all look alike to me. They all look very feminine(but I guess females are the ones buying their shit), so I really have nothing to show yall from there area. And then Chryslers shit is all old, but the display set up was the best in the show and the models were the hottest. ALL THEY NEED IS SOME NEW CARS.

December 11, 2009

The volt, which would be a nice buy if the pricing is set somewhere between 20 and 30grand. But if the base is 40g's like reports are indicating it will be, not many "average" people are gonna be able to afford it.

December 11, 2009

Oh yeah, that new Regal was something I was curious about seeing too. If you ask me, it looks like a BMW 5. It appears that buick has kinda taken styling cues from the worlds best. ala the other new buick model that looks very similar to a lexus.

December 11, 2009

The main thing I wanted to see at the show was that 2011 CTS coupe. It was unveiled earlier in the week.

December 11, 2009

I feel like I've taken a picture of the convention center hundreds of times. Plenty of space, beautiful architecture. It's an amazing venture. I guess that's why so many shows are held there. That Denim show is probably gonna be off the hook.

December 11, 2009

Speaking of Porsche, I know kinda understand why they took a few years away from the North American International Auto Show(NAIAS). lol, I remember reading that space was an issue for them as well as Porsche not having a big enough market in Michigan to spend the money for a display at NAIAS. These mothafuckas had the hottest exhibit at the L.A. show. Basically their own room. Oooh, that turbo Cayenne is soooo sexy with that grill. I also got my first look at the Panarama. I don't like it, but that ain't sayin' much because I just don't like sedans.

December 11, 2009

Let me tell yall...First, I see 2 Carrera's pass by me, then I see 8 more behind me. There's something about Porsches that I've been diggin' for the last few years. I still want and 968. It, along with them BMW 8 series coupes from the 90's might be the sexiest German cars ever built.

December 10, 2009

Just wow! Yeah, I'm going to the L.A. autoshow tommorrow but as glossy as those rides will be, there's something about seeing an "ol School" ride out on the street on the middle of the week in traffic. I've said it before, I believe cars are meant to DRIVE, not just sit in a garage and get pulled out every other weekend in the summer. The Woodward Dream Cruise(google it if you need to) is cool but when you got something hot like that coupe Deville or a 60-something stang or that cougar, everyday should be a cruise for you. Now that Lincoln I saw parked at the post office apparently belongs to a big party cat in Hollywood. At least that's what came up after googling the plate.

December 9, 2009

No story, just a decent shots. The lights seemed to be just right all day. Beautiful day and a wonderful night in Los Angeles.

December 7, 2009

Okay, I'm back in L.A. and got damn was is coming down outside today. Remember that song by TonyToniTone'? At one point I had started believing it years ago, but when it does rain, it pours here. I had to ask people, is it always this bad when it rains out here. They claim that today was extra bad. A preview of the rainy season coming. Before today, I had only seen sprinkles of rain here.

December 3, 2009

You know, funny thing is, my favorite food joints in Detroit are also the spots where I pick up my favorite "models" for the .com site. See the ass on ol' girl walking out the Coney Island joint. I could've had that lol. And in case yall don't know, the spaghetti up there that I'm eating today is from The hole in the wall I showed yall in the summer of 2008. It's on Michigan avenue.

December 2, 2009

There ain't nothin" like the hoodness of the city buses in Detroit. Yeah, every chance I get, I ride the city bus. I just enjoy being around "the people". On this particular day, I had rode it to Fairlane mall in Dearborn.

December 1, 2009

Man, I can't express enough how important it is to somehow "capture" your memories. Here it is 2009 and I still think back over a decade ago when I got my first apartment. See the post I did on it last year. I knew it wasn't gonna be around much longer and as you can see in the photos I shot today, that mothafucka is a hulking abandoned building now. Just last year it was bustling with activity but now it's an eye sore that will have to be torn down in order to prevent those travelling downtown to the sports stadiums from seeing the blight. Notice how just in 1 year, all the windows are gone and it looks like pipes have been taken from inside. During the summer, the owner was unable to pay delinquent bills and the tenants had to move out.
