April 24, 2011 Easter 1970-something. I remember how growing up I'd love going through my old pictures. I enjoy it even more as a grown man. I know younger muhfuckas take baby pictures and other images from their youth for granted because if you're 21 or younger, you probably have thousands of photos. People have been snapping shots of you from disposible, digital, cellphone and even video cameras since you were born. We can't go back to your younger days, but if you had good times and were lucky to capture them you shouldn't even wanna go back. You'd fuck shit up. It's all about making the present and future just as perfect and memorable as the past. The way I see it is when I'm an old 70 year old grandfather I'll be showing people this blog that I've been doing for 40 years. I will have outlived a lot of mothafuckas in more ways that one. And everyone will see how I made all the right moves and lived a long, happy and exciting life. The one that you're witnessing in real time now. April 24, 2011 Easter Sunday 2011. I'm back in Detroit for a few days. My hometown. How dare anyone in any other city across the U.S. warn me about dangerous parts of their city. If you can survive the hood here, anywhere else you go is like an amusement park. When I come back I feel like I get a spark. I'm thinking about hittin' up Cali for a few days and then back down to Miami to really make some moves now. So glad I got off my ass last week and broke the soft routine I was in. I sure do miss those Florida women though. No women in the country compare to them. April 24, 2011 I show yall the torn down building in the top 2 pictures because I rolled past it when it was standing in my Christmas of 2010 .com preview video. It's obvious the city ain't playing anymore. Shit is coming down. But I still say shit won't be "beautiful" in Detroit until I'm in my 50s. From the little progress I've seen in 10 years. I'm saying 20 more years for the city to a place where people actually wanna live. Down below is an empty field that use to have a 10 floor apartment building that I've fucked hoes in while it was actually legit & housing people and when it had become an abandoned drug den. I was always afraid of what I'd find laying in one of those rooms. The last time I was in that muhfucka was like November of 2008 and on that cold day I first started having 2nd thoughts about the dangers I was facing while messing with hoes to make this site. It's amazing how structures can vanish but the memories that attach themselves to certain people remain. I can't imagine the hell that some people probably experienced in those spots. April 24, 2011 A lil art in the streets. I was just riding down Woodward and noticed it out the corner of my eye. April 24, 2011 This is me turning onto the street where the house I had bought 5 years ago sits. As I showed & told yall in February 2010 the house and the 2 attached pieces of property were gonna be gated off by me and made into a "fortress". I'm glad I counted that $500 and the dream as a loss and moved on. I know this is gonna be one of the areas that the city is gonna "shut down" to reduce size and redevelop. Wish I could've held onto my lil investment But there was no way in hell that you could even safely walk down this street without problems from niggaz in 2007. I still have the video and dent on my mustang from niggaz causing a problem back in 2009 when some of the houses were still being lived in. I can't imagine what could happen to you fuckin' around over there in 2011. It might be the worse looking block in the city. Every house is abandoned. But it's ironic because the location is so convenient and the views could be so beatiful if looking out of a condo sitting anywhere on the block. 4-20 It's April 20th and I was just sittin' back thinkin bout blazin' up. It's never as good as it was in the Netherlands though. Up above is shit that I just found while transferring tape earlier this month. You've never seen it before. It's me coming down off of a high that had me roaming through Amsterdam. It was so funny to me because before I hit the coffee shops the dude that filmed this was laughing his ass off when I told him I planned on trying everything I could. He told me to make sure I held onto my cameras and my wallet. I remember thinking what the hell is this mothafucka talking about. "Hold onto your cameras and your wallet." He already knew I was about to be fucked up. To this day I can't figure out how I didn't end up passed out in the street, robbed or in jail. April 18, 2011 too Yep, did a lil more shoppin' today. Lenox Square was definitely a lot nicer than West End. Not gonna show my entire wardrobe, but copped a few more pairs of pants and some more button ups. Hate to say it, but It seems like Atlanta got more shit than other spots in the country. But then again, I've been shoppin' at "the flea" for the last year. And shit, I haven't been travelling like I use to. So I guess I don't know what other places got right now. April 18, 2011 Did a lil shopping yesterday. Gotta boost my jean game up a lil bit. The hardest thing nowadays is finding the right cut. It's hard to find LOOSE shit that'll fit me right. I'd rather go a lil too big than too small. Need a couple more styles, but this mall doesn't have a good selection of anything except sneakers. I guess I'll hit up another spot tomorrow. Shit closes kinda early on Sundays. April 17, 2011 Typing this from my hotel room in Atlanta, GA. Yall know I've been here many times. Didn't know how badly I needed a breather from day to day in Miami. It wasn't boredom or stress. It was actually a bad case of laziness. I was feeling like I was 55 years old. Contemplated going to Jamaica or the Bahamas for 5 days. Since it's so cheap to go to those places from Florida, I've been trying to go for a year. Just can't get up the desire to go because it can't be too different than Miami. Maybe this fall or winter. So I jumped in the car and rolled out. Believe it or not, doing an island for a week would've been cheaper. I got to thinking Easter is next weekend too. I might as well cruise up I-75 for another 11 hours to my hometown and REALLY get my "spark" back. Being in that mothafucka for a few days will have anyone "unlazy". Begging to get back down south. And I'm not gonna lie, I've been itching to photograph a broad naked on Belle Isle and in front of a couple more spots in the D. Hard to believe I didn't think to do a lot of things when I was actually living there. Gonna make some of them happen real quick. April 11, 2011 Cleanest 80's coupeDeville I've ever seen on the rode. April 11, 2011 too This International scout reminds me so much of the 1960s Ford Broncos. See the May 6, 2010 entry. I'd take either one. Looking at the picture up above, most people probably see junk. Me, I see potential. I'd drive that mothafucka just like it is while I do A lil more bodywork, put on a nice coat of candy paint and a huge set of rims. If I had the space to park it, I'd make the owner an offer. This style of truck, possibly a 1960's suburban or chevy pick-up, a 1983 cadillac coupeDeville and a 1965-1967 pontiac tempest or lemans is my classic car wish list. All easy to find, cheap to buy but storing those muhfuckas gets expensive. April 8, 2011 More classic cars cruising the streets of Florida on a daily basis than anywhere else I've been. I could take pics all day of unique classics, but these are just 2 I saw today. Both of them looked brand new. completely rebuilt from the frame up. April 4, 2011 Yesssir. Out here on a beautiful Monday morning Fishing. Bad location though. Nothing was out there biting. But the main thing is I've gotten the routine down. When you're doing anything and you establish a routine, it's so easy to keep doing it and become successfull at it. April 4, 2011 too Speaking of routines. For almost the last 5 years, I've been in the routine of throwing up my porn updates without taking advantage of the advances in technology. Now with something like 300 videos in the members area, It's a tough task to go back and re-edit everything. But guess what...You start a journey with 1 step. So beginning today and over the next 6 or so months, I'ma be steppin' hard to redo a lot of video I've shot. I can't believe how much CRISPER the shit looks as I transfer it in 2011. Originally I was using an editing program named Pinnacle Moviestar that I had bought way back in 2000. I'm looking at probably 200 hours of work ahead. Been wanting to convert all the old mini DV's anywayz. I hate those old 2002 mpeg vids that are 1 gig big in the members area. Not to mention the current 350mb 5 minute scenes. I'm gonna correct all that shit. Also, what has been fucking with me over the last few months is the lines at the top of my HD videos that I've been doing for almost a year now. I just found out that Windows Live is the reason that happened. That'll be fixed. Also, some of the older videos have always little distorted because I used to edit them with laptops that had slow processors. It's just time for me to make shit look better. I look at everything I've done as art and I want my works to be as good as it can possibly be. So glad I kept all the originals. Even held onto the original RAW photos that I took 10 years ago. I'm gonna have several viewing options for the vids. Maybe AVI, MPG, WMV and FLASH for cell phones I guess. Also when I finish converting and redoing, I guess I'll throw everything on a DVD(or 2 or 3) and call it the first 10 years. Get it packaged nicely and sell some limited edition copies through pay pal. Like I said though, it's probably gonna take me months to get everything redone. ***update 4-8-11...Done converting. took 4 days off and on. Sealed the cases with labels and I never have to fuck with that old technology again. Everything I've filmed from 2001 to 2009(except the first tape I shot in 2001 and lost) is a digitized file. Raw, unedited and untitled in the clearest format possible. I imagine all that shit is probably worth quite a bit of money. 500+ gigs of amatuer porn. I've got hard copies and online copies. My shit will be around FOREVER. 2009 and up has always been digital files. Gonna find something constructive to do with the tapes up above. I'm thinking I'll build something with them. Seriously. picture frames or some other kinda artsy shit I can display. Most people probably don't even realize how much blank mini DV tapes were selling for when I bought them. $5 a piece was the lowest price I was ever able to get them for.
