September 26, 2009 *So yeah, This is the last entry of the month and the final one I'm doing in this format. Went back to the 9 to 5 this week. Got my long awaited plaque yesterday. But dang, it ain't blue anymore. What's next?...I'll explain and show yall some more photos, but like I said on monday: and you'll get an access password. lol, yall thought I was bullshittin' earlier in the week hahahaha. Remember, 75% of your donation goes to the foundation to help "temporarily disadvantaged women" I'm setting up. 20 percent goes towards expenses to maintain this blog and www.foulfowl.org Then the last 5 percent goes towards my grooming and gym membership because I'm sure yall want me to continue to look good. I keep trying to tell you it's only gonna get better, but If this is the end of the road for you. PEACE! September 21, 2009 too Okay, remember sometime in the spring I talked about starting my charity organization: FOULFOWL.org? Well, that time has come. I couldn't think of a better time to do it. My main computer actually died last week so I'm picking up a mac today. Believe it or not, this whole entry is being done on my G1. The mac will give me a chance to experiment with some new shit in creating the .org site though. Also today is the last day of summer 2009. Tomorrow being the first day of Autumn, I've got the biggest moves I've ever made starting. My "official" departure from "working" for a living and my upcoming vacation in Brasil alone will be worth the $5.00 yearly fee to access this blog. A good portion of that will go directly to the .org I'm setting up so you should feel good about paypaling it. Over the next few days, go ahead and look back at the 3 years & 3 months of entries that I've got posted so you can bring yourself up to speed or get familiar with me for the first time. I'll let what I consider to be highlights still be accessible to everyone, but from this day foward, you gotta pay to see me play. I can't even express in words how action packed and exciting this blog is getting ready to get. So along with the mac, I'm buying an HD video camera and some new still camera lenses to show you. Who writes anymore anyways, right? I've always been so horrible at it. But you gotta admit what I've written over the years has been good. September 21, 2009 Just a few oddities I spotted over the past few days. On top, A ferrari limo at Mickey D's and down below, a dead beaten dog laying on the street corner. September 17, 2009 It has come to my attention that they're aren't that many Drive Inn theatres left in the country. I have been wondering for a while now how this one in the Detroit area manages to stay open. Google it. I guess they're making a profit. When I was a kid, I enjoyed going to the joint on 8 mile more than going to the movie theatres. I remember double features. I'd put my blanket on top of the car and lay outside watching the movie. Yep, those were the days. Almost as fun as me taking a bitch to the drive inn in 2009. See the lil clip below. ol' girl got so blitz off of drank that I felt bad about dropping her off at her crib like that. She's an alocoholic for real. I know she ain't gonna be able to goto work in the morning. I fear DUI's(they ain't taking my drivers license away again for nothing) so All I sipped on was a corona. I can remember about 8 years ago getting too drunk to drive outta that mothafucka. The people working there were nice enough to just let me sleep the alcohol off. September 16, 2009 I turn on the 5pm news today and for the first 10 minutes. I see black men being searched for by the police. one of the dudes allegedly firebombed his exgirlfriends crib because she wouldn't let him spend the night. Then for the next 5 minutes I see a story that the ex-mayor of Detroit is a day late and a few thousand dollars short on his monthly restitution payments to the city. They'll have a 10 minute special on him and his new "luxurious" life in Southlake, Texas this evening. This is a day after watching Oprah Winfrey and Whitney Houston(quite possibly the 2 most recognizable black women in the world) blame Bobby Brown for all Whitneys drug problems. 2 days after watching Kanye get on stage and make a "jackass" of himself. Brothas gotta get shit together. You can't blame the media for showing it because you're out there fuckin' up. When people sit and watch the news and see that half the newscast is about BLACK MEN fuckin' up It becomes very difficult to take Black men seriously. These are suppose to be extraordinary times that we're living in. A black man is president. There are more opportunities for brothas than any other time in the history of this country. Yet, you gotta turn your T.V. on and watch niggaz from Highland Park, Michigan, going out to Roseville, Michigan breaking into a house, stealing shit and killing the family cat. That shit made national news. Now the next time a brotha like me rolls through Roseville, the cops think they have good reason to pull me over and harass me. Brothas gotta get it together. September 16, 2009 too So I'm back from Florida. And really, for the first time in a long time, I'm at a lost for words for the blog. I've been loungin for about almost a month now and there really ain't shit to talk about. To be quite honest, I got bored in Florida. When you stay there for longer than a week, you realize besides for the awesome nightlife, there's not really shit going on but heat there. I can do a week here and there in Florida, but nah, I couldn't live there. Maybe if I was trying to raise a family, because there are a lot of beautiful neigborhoods, but just for me, I'll take the grime of the "D" with its crime, blight and fucked up school system. Bill Cosby was here giving his support in trying to get parents to keep their children enrolled in city schools. Who in their right mind would let their kids goto public school in the "D"? Hell, if I was an employer and saw that a potential employee went to Detroit public schools, I wouldn't hire that mothafucka for that reason alone. Disaster areas. I'm just keepin' it real. Yeah, there are exceptions, but numbers don't lie. Detroit Public schools are the worst in the country. And I'm not talking about the teachers, a lot of them are top notch. They can only work with the resources that they are given and in many cases, when they walk into the school doors in the morning, they're dealing with students that just aren't there to learn. The problem is most residents of the "D" just don't care about shit. They don't raise their children the right way. Manners, self-respect, respect for others and an eagerness to learn isn't that hard to teach kids. Below are pictures of a "closed" Detroit public school. Look at how beautiful the brick structure is. old desk and supplies just sitting inside. I didn't get out of my car or get on the property because I'm sure someone would probably try to say that I was actually inside taking shit. I'll be back later, I'm going golfin' and then downtown to grab lunch. September 7, 2009 Yesssir, when it comes to food, I'm a simple dude. Breakfast at waffle house, lunch at Perkins. You can't tell me that shit up above doesn't look scrumptious. Not sure what'll be for dinner, but it'll be some shit that you can't get up north too. I still can't understand what idiots are stopping Waffle House's from being in Michigan. I've probably spent a few hundred at the joints over the last 2 weeks. Oh yeah, Happy Labor Day! The unofficial end of summer. September 6, 2009 Gettin' my DisneyWorld on. I'm in Orlando, so why not right? Me and Mickey go back a long way. But whenever I'm at one of his parks, he never comes around trying to give a brotha any breaks on the prices. $3.75 for a bottled soda. Lol, Disney just purchased Marvel comics a few days ago. Pocket change for Mickey. September 5, 2009 Okay, I'm conflicted. I've been loungin' down here in Florida for some time now. couple weeks? I was gonna jump on the motorcycle and ride cross country, like I had said I'd do earlier in the year...BUT, I really don't even wanna leave this mothafucka. I've been trying to figure out a reason to leave and I just can't. I've shot enough photos and video and photos for my websites to keep updating until early 2010. I'm not working a 9 to 5 right now. so, I'm basically just chillin' in the hotel. Good dope, hot weather and quite possbily the best strip bars in the country. Not sure if yall remember when I bought some land in orlando. I can't do to much with it, cause I don't have the money too. It ain't cheap building a house and I ain't rich. Hell, I just can't do it YET. But in Miami a few days ago, I looked at a few lil condos in Ft. Lauderdale and Miami that are affordable. When i say affordable, I mean I can still keep my spot in Long Beach and blow half a stack a week on bullshit too. Shit ain't no fun if you can't blow dough. I'm thinking I can divide my time between L.A. and Florida(Miami, tampa or Orlando). Maybe do a couple months of the summer in the "D". If you're trying to call me, you can't. I'm almost certain someone stole my cell phone with photos on it at one of the titty bar a few days ago. I was sippin' on some patron, smokin' 305 cigarettes being mesmerized by the big ass's and sexy accents and kinda blacked out. Although, it has been peaceful the last couple of days without anyone being able to contact me. It feels like your leash is off.
