My biggest fear. Homelessness. I don't know where it came about, cause I've never been there. But everytime I'm away from my comfort zone...Detroit, and see someone down and out, I get shook. I think we Detroiters take housing for granted. The cost of living is so low there that you can always find a place to rent for no more than $500 a month if you have to. Hell, you can even do like I did 2 and 1/2 years ago and pay cash for some cheap houses there. Of course you won't be living in luxury, but you'd have a roof over your head. Goto any other major city and you quickly see how hard life can be. lol. It's the reason I went back to college after taking time off before my sophomore year. and it'll probably be the reason why although I say I wanna quit my day job(yep, my resolutions are falling apart already), I probably won't ever be able to do it. I don't care how good a time I'm having, how many investments I have, how much money I have in my pocket or the bank. I always live with the thought in the back of my head that one day the plug could be pulled and I won't be able to get anymore money. My fear is probably a good thing though. It's the reason why I prefer to own instead of rent or lease. It's the reason why I try to always have as many things going on as possible. If one source drys up, I'll have another one. I see so many mothafuckas living from paycheck to paycheck, not even knowing where there gonna get money to buy food. A lot of people know how to play it off real well, but they be one fuck up away from walking the streets and shitting on themselves like the dude up above. I've heard horror stories from mothafuckas. My advice...educate yourself, save your money, own your own shit(transportation/property) and then save some more. Me personally, I'm sitting back right now, plotting on how I'm gonna get that island crib I was telling yall about in June, 2006 lol.

Now, I had a choice. I could have went down to San Diego yesterday and watched the Chargers, whom I have no feelings for. I just really wanted to experience an NFL playoff game(maybe now, I'll just have to goto the superbowl in Tampa). I never just goto Daygo and turn around and come back. I would have crossed the border hit Adelitas in TJ and would have probably ended up staying there for a few nights. If I would have done that, than I would've missed my Detroit Pistons (lazily)beat the L.A. Clippers. I think I made the right choice. Me and my homegirl had a goodtime with them prime tickets(one row from the floor seats). When you get down that low and close to the action, you cain't go back up. lol. and trust me, my ass has been in the cheap seats many times before this internet income started kicking in(click here to see) I wasn't gonna ask Joe Dumars, whom is a childhood hero of mine(he and Isiah Thomas) for a picture, but hell, everyone else did. He was sitting a row behind me on the opposite side of the aisle. He wasn't looking to pleased with the way the Pistons were playing. Like I said, they barely beat the Clippers(a horrible team). Iverson taking too many bad shots(smh). Those black chearleaders, OMG! Oh yeah, when I was walking out of the clippers game, I see people waiting outside for the Lakers game which is played in the same building 3 hours later. The L.A. Kings had played a hockey game there just 12 hours before. The staples center is the best Arena in sports, but I can't believe these teams don't have separate spots.(I'll add more photos below, during the week)

Right off the street named "Henry Ford Av" I can't believe how fast the cars that come into the ports move out. One day you see the lot packed, on the next day, half the vehicles are gone. No wonder the U.S. auto companies are doing so badly. I personally could never buy a foreign car(unless it's a Ferrari), but I swear out west I rarely see new domestic vehicles on the road. It's pitiful. Almost mindboggling to see all those Asian cars. This area reminds me a lot of the area of Mack and St. Jean in Detroit, where you see all the Chryslers that have come out of the plant parked.

I forgot to tell yall how I got my first barber shop haircut in years on new years eve. The above picture is before the cut. I'm really quite amazed that my hair doesn't grow as fast as it did 5 years ago. I can probably go 3 weeks between cuts before I start looking raggedy. I went to the barbershop and didn't think to ask dude how much a simple cut was gonna cost...that'll $20 is what he said when he was done. lol, I was shocked. Now I remember before I grew my dreads, the price for a taper and a round off was only $12 and they had just raised the price from $10. Shit, I use to throw my barber in Detroit a $3 tip to round it off to $15. needless to say dude that cut my hair on Wednesday didn't get a tip. I've had the worst fuckin' headache for a day now. but I jumped on the computer to put my New Years resolutions out there. 1)at some point this year, I'm turning the blog into all audio/photos/videos. I was suppose to stop typing shit a couple years ago, but I couldn't stop. 2)I wanna hit the gym at least 3 times a week. 3)I wanna make lots of money, lol. 4)I wanna set up a legit charity foundation with foulfowl.org It's something I've been planning for years now(I'll explain at a later date). 5)I WILL Quit my day job.

Okay, so here's what happen, I stumbled around in Hollywood for a while yesterday, like I said I would. heard about Snoop & friends at the House of blues for new years eve. Now I've always been a Snoop fan, been to a few of his concerts..Buuuut, this was "& Friends" So my homegirl hooked up some general admission tickets, which we upgraded when we got there. G.A. tix were about a buck and a quarter a piece. VIP was an additional $150. I think we had something in between both. Now, what I didn't know is that at the door, scalpers were buying the G.A. tix for $200. We could have made a nice lil profit, but fuck it...If I could have chosen 3 performers to see that I grew up on, it of course would be 1st 2pac, then biggie and next the whole N.W.A. obviously those 3 shows ain't possible. So, New Years Eve 2009, I got a chance to see my 4th on the list. DPG(kurupt and Daz), Rage(she did a tribute to Flint, Michigans M.C. Breed), Warren G, the twinz. I thought I was in High School again. I kept hoping that Dr. Dre would step out though lol. Needless to say, I had a blast. I can't even tell you how live it was up in there. Weed clouds were everywhere. The strongest shit I have evvver smelled. I was watching celebs that I watch on T.V.(they would come in stay for 15 mins and then roll out). See I had been expecting that "hood" atmosphere that normally attends Snoops shows. But no, there wasn't any hoodrats, just Dimes. The most shocking shit of the night was seeing 50 year old balding white men dancing and singing the lyrics. and 40 year old white bitches with plastic body parts shaking ass and titties. lol, at one time Snoop said, "I grew up listing to that LukeSkywalker shit, you know that 'pop that pussy' shit. He then started playing that 2 live crew shit and blended it into his and DPG 'Bomb ass Pussy'. Women that you wouldn't imagine dancing were moving like strippers. At the beginning I was laughing my ass off when hoes started getting escorted out from drank and exhaustion, then(and I'm almost embarrassed to say this) my homegirl and security had to help me out that mothafucka. See, with the tix we upgraded to you got nonstop drinks. I was guzzling corona beers, vodka & orange juice and hen & coke. That shit does not mix well. She was only sipping on Martinis. An Amazing 4 hour show. Unfortunately they wouldn't let you take cameras in(bitches seemed to be having them in their purses though and no one bothered them), They threatened to confiscate my phone but I sneaked a few on my G1 while at the bar...with no flash :-( For 2010, I think I'll just kick it with my circle at the crib cause it'll be hard to top 2009. Although I said that after 2005 in Miami too though. lol
